Welcome To American Renewable Metals (ARM)

Transformative Critical Minerals Processing and Recovery

America's waste.
America's critical minerals.

ARM's patented separation platform recovers rare earth oxides, aluminum, zinc, gallium and other critical minerals and valuable co-products from various feedstocks including coal ash, mine tailings, and end-of-life electronics — turning environmental liabilities into domestic supply.

Who We Are

The resource isn't the bottleneck. Processing is.

The United States holds vast reserves of critical minerals — locked inside coal ash ponds, mine tailings, and retired electronics.

American Renewable Metals built the processing platform: a closed-loop system that extracts, separates, and purifies critical minerals from waste feedstocks at a fraction of the cost and time of conventional solvent extraction, on modular equipment that deploys where the feedstock already sits.

1.

Dissolve

Feedstock is digested under controlled conditions, transferring target metals into solution. Undissolved silica exits as high-grade pozzolan for the cement market.

2.

Separate

Continuous ion exchange splits the solution into discrete metal streams based on the distinct chemistry of their chloride complexes.

3.

Purify

Simulated moving bed chromatography resolves the mixture into individual high-purity products, including separated rare earth oxides.

4.

Recycle

Acid and reagents return to the front of the process. The closed loop is what changes the economics — and the footprint.

Three Markets

Three waste streams. One proven platform.

Each vertical is backed by named partners and sponsored development programs — not projections.

VERTICAL 1

Utilities & Coal Ash

Turn ponded CCR compliance liabilities into products such as ferric chloride, alumina, pozzolan, and rare earth oxides. Developed through multiple phases of EPRI- and utility-sponsored work.

VERTICAL 02

Post-Consumer & Post- Industrial E-Waste

Recover copper, gallium, tellurium, indium, silver, and rare earths from retired ICT equipment and post-industrial streams including solar panel tailings.

VERTICAL 03

Mining & Defense

Produce rare earth oxides, gallium, and co- products from domestic mine tailings. ARM is a member of the Defense Industrial Base Consortium.

Proof, Not Promises

Products you can hold, from waste nobody wanted.

Every stage of ARM's platform — bench, pilot, demonstration — was funded and reviewed by federal agencies, industry research institutes, and the utilities and manufacturers who would use it.

  • Separated rare earth oxides at purities exceeding 99.9%

  • Water-treatment-grade ferric chloride utilities already purchase

  • Pozzolan validated for cement applications

  • High-purity alumina and gallium oxide
